Rain Man

This is what they affectionately call me at work, or at least I think they do it affectionately. I've never seen the movie, but I got this name because I tend to remember insignificant details about things in other people's lives. So today I was trying to figure out why I go to the effort to remember things. Somehow, I think it is my way of showing people I care. I want people to know I am listening when they are talking to me and actually paying attention. So if I remember some odd fact about your life that you told me years ago, don't get wierded out, but just know that I remember because I care.
